CHICAGO PLANETARIUM SUNRISE ENGAGEMENT PICTURES
To tell the truth, until I got into photography, I missed pretty much every sunrise in my life. Until I went to Indonesia twenty years ago and climbed volcanos in the late afternoon, sleeping by the summit and waking up earlier to catch those epic sunrises. Even today, I usually go a little before I meet the couples to enjoy every minute of it. In this particular occasion, it was memorial day, the layers of clouds help stretching those first minutes a little longer. We met at the Planetarium and then we walked down to the beach.
For the picture above I used a fish eye. Then I zoomed in and then cropped to a panoramic ratio.
PING TOM PARK ENGAGEMENT PICTURES
We finished our session at Ping Tom Park, which offers a great take on Chicago’s cityscapes. A little of rain added nicely to soften the light.
