HOLLY AND CHRIS’ S HOTEL BAKER WEDDING

Holly and Chris’s paths crossed multiple times while living in Illinois, but always missing by a little. That was until they were in line in a cafe’ in Arizona. On Holly’s birthday. And Chris overheard her saying it was her birthday. And Chris bougth her a drink.

WATERFRONT ROOM CEREMONY

Holly and Chris got ready at the hotel. The original furniture of the twenty’s is gone, because the hotel change hands several times, but the room managed to preserved a vintage feel thanks to the many details, such as door bells and air conditioning metal plates.  The ceremony took place in the Riverfront room, which is nested over the running waters of the Fox river and is filled with natural light. The decor echos the venetian style of the hotel, whose architecture was ingfluenced by the trip to Europe of the first owner Colonel Baker. After the ceremony, Holly changed into a black dress, which made for a very different session of pictures. This time we went across the Fox river, while the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the terrace.
