While less popular than the north side, the south of Chicago has several hidden gems and I was thrilled to shoot this Ping Tom Park engagement and later go at the bizarre Northerly island, by the Planetarium. The asian atmosphere of the park brings back a lot of good memories from my journeys. But the background of Ali is even more intriguing: while of chinese descent, she grew up in Argentina and therefore she is fluent in spanish.
I love willow trees. Their sweeping branches produce a melancholic atmosphere that I find very inspiring.
We left the 18th street and drove to the beach of Northerly island.
